The celebrated Rodolfus Choir is delighted to conclude their Easter project with an inspiring concert of music by composers celebrating major anniversaries in 2026. From the vibrant Renaissance music of Thomas Weelkes (Hosanna to the Son of David & When David heard) to stunning choral works by Benjamin Britten (Hymn to St Cecilia & A Hymn to the Virgin), the choir will also perform popular works by Pierre Villette and Charles Wood. The choir will particularly celebrate the music of Cecilia McDowall in her 75th year, performing some of her sacred and secular works prior to a post-concert reception to mark the release of the choir’s new recording of her music, A Tree is a Song, on this date.
